In the Saint Paul area, there are over 160 parks and open spaces, 41 recreation centers, three 18-hole golf courses, 24 bicycle and pedestrian paths, one indoor pool and two outdoor pools, a public beach and sports facilities.

If you are a sports fan, Saint Paul will not disappoint. The city boasts several teams including the Minnesota Wild (hockey), the Saint Paul Saints (minor league baseball), the Minnesota Thunder (Soccer), and the Minnesota Swarm (Lacrosse).

If shopping is more your style, and you feel like strolling leisurely through the streets of downtown, then check out the boutiques and brand name stores located along Grand Avenue. You are bound to find something for everyone on your list.

If you need to throw a party, and are looking for a rather unique location, then check out the Wabasha Street Caves. This unique facility, designed for private events, is comprised of 12,000 square feet in an underground cave system, which features stucco ceilings, tile floors, a 60-foot bar, dining room and meeting space.

If you are looking for nightly entertainment and like jazz music, Saint Paul is home to several notable jazz clubs including the French Press Jazz Cafe, the Dakota Bar & Grill and the Artists’ Quarter.

Minnesota does not make their claim to being the land of 10,000 lakes without having the water to back it up. If you enjoy boating, fishing, and camping, there are numerous area Lakes and Rivers in Saint Paul and the immediate surround area which are just minutes away.
