Attractions
Saint Paul has several notable attractions including the Science Museum of Minnesota, Como Zoo and Conservatory, the Fort Snelling State Park, Minnesota History Center, Minnesota Transportation Museum, Gibbs Farm Museum, Minnesota Museum of American Art, and the James J. Hill House. Also in close proximity is the well-known Mall of America in Bloomington which is recognized as the largest shopping mall in the U.S.
According to the 2000 Census, over 287,500 people call Saint Paul home. The three dominate racial groups in the city are Whites (67.02%), Asians (12.36%) and African-Americans (11.71%). Saint Paul also holds the distinction of having the world’s second largest urban Hmong population.
